While not all mattresses are easy to assemble, putting together our two-sided mattresses is pretty simple and will only take you around 15–20 minutes. Follow these steps for quick and easy assembly -
Move all the boxes into the room you want it in.
Unpack and place the organic cotton zippered cover on your bed frame.
Identify which latex foam layer (Medium/Firm/Extra Firm) you want as the base layer and place it first. This will act as the support core.
Identify which latex foam layer you want as the top layer (the layer you'll be sleeping on) and place it next. This will be the comfort layer and provide the firmness you'll be experiencing.
Zip it up, make the bed with pillows, toppers, and other bedding, and enjoy!

Use a waterproof mattress protector over your mattress. Once a month, air out the mattress for a few hours. Every few weeks, vacuum the dust, dirt, and other particles away from the top of the mattress. Rotate the mattress from head to toe every few months.
Soak up the spilled liquid, spray the affected area with a mixture of white distilled vinegar and water (or lemon juice), sprinkle some baking soda over the mattress, and let it rest in an area with ventilation. After 8 hours, remove the baking soda with a vacuum, check for any odor or stain, and let the mattress dry entirely before putting it back.
Avoid drying the organic latex material mattress in direct sunlight. Avoid using hydrogen peroxide. Avoid using the mattress before it is completely dry. Avoid washing any of the layers or the cover. They should not be placed in a dryer.
For slatted bed frames, always ensure the space between the slats should be no more than 3 inches apart. If your current bed frame has slats that are spaced more than 3 inches apart, we recommend adding extra slats in between the existing ones or placing a simple Bunkie board/plywood sheet over your current frame.
Note: Improper slat spacing may void the warranty.
Latex is a natural product found beneath the bark of mature rubber trees. The milky white liquid that seeps from the rubber tree is collected and then processed to create either natural Talalay latex foam (softer) or natural Dunlop latex foam (firmer).
There are four different types of latex that are being used in the latex mattress market. This includes natural, organic, synthetic, and blended latex. Here's a breakdown of each -
Natural Latex
Harvested from organically grown rubber trees (Hevea Brasiliensis), this type of latex is naturally processed to create foam layers. Plus, mattresses made of natural latex feel incredible and represent a great long-term investment. The best part is that natural latex mattresses are generally considered safe and are not treated with toxic chemicals.
Organic Latex
Organic latex is natural latex that comes with an organic seal of approval. Latex mattresses that are organic contain ≥95% organic latex, the highest possible standard. It is the cleanest that you can buy for your health, the fairest for those working in the rubber industry, and the safest for Mother Earth.
Synthetic Latex
Synthetic latex is the cheapest type of latex and is usually constructed from Styrene-Butadiene Rubber. Mattresses made of synthetic latex involve the use of a variety of synthetic materials that are toxic to human health. Synthetic mattresses also tend to have a much shorter lifespan and durability than the natural and organic ones.
Blended Latex
A combination of natural latex and synthetic additives, blended latex mattresses usually contain 15 to 30 percent natural latex, with the rest being synthetic.
We can proudly say that our natural organic latex mattresses do NOT contain the harmful levels of chemicals found in conventional mattresses. We produce latex to the highest possible organic standard (≥95%), and it has been certified by the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS). You can also find many other Turmerry product using materials certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), OEKO-TEX, eco-INSTITUT, LGA, FSC, etc. Furthermore, we do not use any sort of blended latex or synthetic latex, ensuring the healthiest possible bedroom environment for you and your family!
Latex foam is processed in two different ways - Dunlop or Talalay. Talalay latex is fluffy throughout and typically softer and less dense than Dunlop latex. As a result, Talalay latex mattresses offer more cushioning and pressure relief.
We didn't want to sacrifice support but instead wanted to aim for a balance between comfort and support. Thus, we chose Dunlop latex for our mattress.
Natural latex foam has a number of unique properties that make it ideal for use in mattress construction, including durability, breathability, resilience, and a willingness to conform to the body's contours. Plus, natural latex is a great choice in terms of having firmer, more "bouncy" mattress support. Latex beds are springy and come with a buoyant feeling, thus naturally supporting your posture.
Memory foam mattresses, on the other hand, practically ‘sink’ your body into itself and may give you aches and pains later on due to reduced support. Need some level of ‘softness’ but want to sleep on a ‘firm’ mattress? An all-latex mattress solves this exact problem. It’s somewhat soft, like foam-based mattresses, but since it has a natural buoyant feeling, it provides just the right amount of firmness.
Natural Latex vs. Memory Foam Mattress
While both provide excellent cushioning, natural latex offers a more responsive and buoyant feel compared to the contouring hug of memory foam. Latex is also more breathable, ensuring a cooler sleep experience.
Natural Latex vs. Gel Memory Foam Mattress
While gel memory foam incorporates cooling properties, natural latex surpasses it in breathability and durability. Latex mattresses tend to maintain a more consistent feel and offer robust support over time.
Natural Latex vs. Hybrid Mattress
A natural latex mattress is often more responsive and breathable than hybrid mattresses, which combine modern spring coils with a foam comfort layer. Latex provides a balance of support and comfort without the motion transfer associated with hybrids.
Natural Latex vs. Innerspring Mattress
Compared to traditional innerspring mattresses, natural latex offers superior motion isolation, contouring comfort, and durability. Latex mattresses tend to outperform their traditional mattress counterparts, like the innerspring, in delivering a comfortable and long-lasting sleep surface.

Twin Latex Mattress
A twin mattress is the smallest standard mattress size in the US and measures 38" by 75". This type of mattress is the best option for growing children or young adults.
The average room size recommended for a twin latex mattress is 7 feet by 10 feet. This means twin mattresses are ideal for smaller bedrooms, bunk beds, etc.
Twin XL Latex Mattress
A twin XL mattress is 5 inches longer than the standard twin mattress and measures 38” x 80”. This type of mattress is the best choice for teens, single adults, or taller individuals.
The average room size recommended for a twin XL-size latex mattress is 9 feet 6 inches by 10 feet 6 inches. This means twin XL mattresses are ideal for college dorm rooms or anywhere else with limited space.
Full-Size Latex Mattress
Also known as a double mattress, a full-size mattress measures 54" by 75" and is best suited for single sleepers. It's not always a good option for couples, unless they don't mind sleeping curled up all night.
A full-size latex mattress fits into almost any room without making it look crowded. However, the minimum recommended room size for a full-size bed is 9 feet 6 inches by 10 feet 6 inches.
Queen Latex Mattress

King Latex Mattress
Measuring 76” by 80”, sleeping on a king-size mattress is a luxurious experience. They are the widest standard mattress size available and are best suited for couples who prefer extra space to sprawl out or for parents who co-sleep with their children.
The recommended room size for a king mattress is 12 feet by 12 feet.
California King Latex Mattress

If, after 30 days, you still find the mattress to be uncomfortable, we will ask you to go through a local donation process in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from mattress removal shipping. Please contact us first, as there are some simple steps that need to be taken for this.
